<p>Like many of the commonly used techniques of hypnotism, hypnosis for weight loss is a natural way of changing a persons habits and beliefs about a healthy diet. The actual technique of hypnosis for weight loss is actually basic common sense and involves getting back in touch with your bodies natural cycles.</p>
<p>From how most overweight people overeat to avoid painful emotions, how our stomachs are designed for only eating full meals every few days, how to tune your taste buds for portion control and the basic formula for healthy eating. The article will explore the many exciting aspects of the basic technique of hypnosis for weight loss.</p>
<p>When it comes to hypnosis for weight loss there is only one single reason why people overeat. People will only overeat to avoid or suppress negative feelings or emotions. By over eating to the point of being full and satisfied one temporally eliminates any painful emotion or experience. It is through this basic principal that this technique works on.</p>
<p>The common western diet is much different from the diet of our early man ancestors. Our stomachs are designed to be filled completely with food only once a day. In fact our ancestors often didn&#8217;t eat a completely filling meal for up to thee days at a time. In between hunts our ancestors ate leafs, vegetables, sprouts, fruit, nuts, seeds and berries. When you do hypnosis for weight loss; the main objective will be to resolve this one issue.</p>
<p>As you start practising this technique on a regular basis you will be able to tune your senses. That is the beauty of this technique of hypnosis for weight loss, with practise we tune our taste buds to make appropriate decisions a use portion control. We eat when we are hungry, we enjoy the food and when we are full, no more food passes our lips. The basic idea is as follows.</p>
<p><strong>The Technique</strong></p>
<p>Follow these suggestions fully and completely each time that you sit down to eat and when ever you are hungry. Hypnosis for weight loss includes four specific steps.</p>
<p>1. Whenever you are hungry for food you should be sure to eat something healthy. Never starve yourself of deprive yourself when you are hungry (this is important).</p>
<p>2. Don&#8217;t eat what you think you should, just because it is in front of you, eat what you want until you are full.</p>
<p>3. With each bite of food you take, chew carefully and fully. Enjoy each and every mouthful of food. Pay attention to your food as you eat it and make sure to chew the food completely, up to thirty times per mouthful.</p>
<p>4. As soon as you think you are full make sure you slow down the eating or even stop completely. It can take a few minutes for the feeling of fullness to catch up to you, so it is helpful to stop eating just before the feeling of fullness comes.</p>
<p>As you can probably tell by now this technique is basic, and gets right to the point. Regardless of whether you lean the hypnosis for weight loss technique when you are deep in trance or simply by consciously repeating the process in your daily life, the process is simple. Always be training yourself to eat when you are hungry, enjoy each bite completely, eat until you are full and then stop eating. Remember less is more.</p>

<p>Hypnosis induction is an art to alter the brain and the behavior of some other individual. There exist 2 main types of hypnotic induction &#8211; the concealed and an open one.</p>
<p>The main difference is as follows: with a covert hypnosis induction of the person that is being hypnotized, does not know what is happening, and with the open method the person knows it.</p>
<p>Depending on your needs, you would have to decide which form of induction you need to gain the skill of.</p>
<p>For example, the open hypnosis induction could be used to crack up people at parties &#8211; pick an individual (in case you are taking your first steps, pick people that you see for the first time in your life, rather than someone from your family members or friends). You would tell this individual that you are a hypnotist and that you can hypnotize her/him right there and then, if he/she would like to be hypnotized.</p>
<p>As a starter, you would ask this individual to stand up, to put both his/her hands straight in front of her/him and to close his/her eyes. Then you would say that on the count &#8220;one&#8221; (counting backwards from &#8220;three&#8221;) she/he is going to feel: 1 &#8211; a heavy weight, pulling stronger and stronger at the right hand of the individual, making it go down; 2 &#8211; a large balloon, pulling stronger and stronger at the left hand of the individual, making it lift up.</p>
<p>The individual will usually not feel the hands moving and for that reason will be really surprised to see that the hands have indeed moved in two opposite directions, after opening her/his eyes.</p>
<p>As to the convert hypnosis induction &#8211; you will not tell anyone about that you are going to hypnotize someone.</p>
<p>You will plainly use one of the robust covert conversational hypnosis methods to induce the chosen individual to like you, to follow your lead and to say &#8220;yes&#8221; to your suggestions.</p>
<p>All of this you would fulfill with a particular type of a talk, during which you would make the peripheral awareness of the individual diminish, at the same time &#8220;embedding&#8221; certain triggers in the brain of the hypnotized individual.</p>
<p>All you have to do next is to use the triggers that you have embedded; it&#8217;s as simple as that.</p>

<p>The art of trying to learn self hypnosis may seem a little perplexing to some people, but in actual fact anyone can learn the techniques involved. Self hypnosis can be used to relax, take your mind off the stressful occurrences of day to day life, and alter your mentality and outlook towards life so that it is more positive.</p>
<p>The thing that most people don&#8217;t realise with self hypnosis is that it isn&#8217;t just a relaxation tool that you can use to delve deeply into a relaxed state where the usual quarrels and fears of the world are alleviated. Self hypnosis can be used for so much more, however people just don&#8217;t know what. You see, self hypnosis can be used to not only get in contact with our subconscious, but it can also be used to change the fundamental way it thinks and behaves in just about every single aspect.</p>
<p>This is to say that if we&#8217;d normally find a certain situation in our lives to be a little trifling or odd, that we can learn self hypnosis to help help overcome it. Now whether this problem is a fear, a phobia, anxiety, stress or just about any other psychologically related thing, doesn&#8217;t really matter, since hypnosis works the same way for all conditions. The thing we&#8217;re trying to do with self hypnosis is change certain aspects of the way we think and behave.</p>
<p>Now some people immediately become a little concerned when they think of themselves as being somehow changed drastically through self hypnosis, however there really isn&#8217;t anything much to worry about. The reason for this is because hypnosis doesn&#8217;t work against our fundamental principles and beliefs. If there&#8217;s a part of us that we don&#8217;t want to change, then we can&#8217;t simply put ourselves into hypnosis and have bad things happen and things changed that we don&#8217;t want to, hypnosis just doesn&#8217;t work like that you see. In order for change to occur, we have to want it. We have to be willing to alter the way we handle certain situations, or view various aspects of life. If for example we want to become more confident when giving public speeches, then that&#8217;s something we desire, a thing we want to change. When we put ourselves into self hypnosis, we will be able to make ourselves more confident, because that&#8217;s something we want to do.</p>
<p>So you&#8217;re perhaps wondering what is the best way that you can go about trying to learn self hypnosis, and what changes that you mind want to make in your life. Self hypnosis isn&#8217;t nearly as difficult as you might think. All that is essentially required is that you find a bit of spare time where you can be alone, and guide your mind and body into a very relaxed and care free state. You can do this by imagining yourself doing something that you find relaxing, and the more that you do it, the more relaxed you can become. This is a similar methodology that practitioners of the eastern mantras utilise, the need to relax ones self before accepting suggestions, or mantras.</p>
<p>When you&#8217;re in this relaxed state, all you need to then do is give yourself positive suggestions. The keyword here is positive, as you don&#8217;t want to mention any bad words, even if you put the word &#8216;don&#8217;t&#8217; or &#8216;won&#8217;t&#8217; in front of them (eg: saying &#8216;I won&#8217;t feel nervous&#8217; isn&#8217;t good since you&#8217;re still mentioning the word nervous, which is a bad keyword). The positive words you might use would consist of &#8216;confidence&#8217; &#8216;determination&#8217; and &#8216;relaxed&#8217;. You may say to yourself when you&#8217;re in self hypnosis &#8216;I want to always feel calm and relaxed&#8217;. Once you bring yourself out of hypnosis, then you&#8217;ve effectively planted the desired suggestion into your subconscious. This is essentially all there is to learning self hypnosis, and with time and practice you too will be able to enter into this state quite easily, and make the desired changes.</p>
